How should i set up the tank? Right now i only have water in the tank and ive been feedin them shrimp and tuna fish out the can. Is that ok what do i need. Like what type rocks, any type of other stuff too. Thanks in advance

Your catfish will live! You can set your fish tank up anyway that you want and any rocks that you want. Although they stir up the rocks like crazy! Thats why my catfish doesn't have any! I have a catfish that my boyfriend thought was a tadpole when he scooped it out of the water and I have had it for 3 years! And its just fine! He has gotten a lot bigger! Although you say you have 30 I found another catfish and they fought all the time until the catfish my boyfriend got me killed the other one! You can feed them what you are now! I actually feed mine goldfish food! You need to have lots of places where they can hide! Cause during the day they hide in little logs or home things that you can buy at the store! Hope this helps!

I caught some out of the creek by our house and put them in my aquarium, they are very interesting pets! Mine always ate the goldfish food that you feed other fish and they lived for a long time. I put a hiding spot in there for them too and about 10 of them would be in this tiny little thing at once, it was funny. What type of catfish? Different species need different care.
