Don't be too hard on them. You can always tell the honest noobs. They're way too literal. For example: Who wants a ride in my swing? And you get: Dude, I don't even know where you live.
Then there are the jerks. Hammer away.

It's okay to mess with the disrespectful people no matter what level they are on. But leave the nice people alone as some honestly don't know how things are run around here. Hell I remember my first time in this section and the people were great. That's what kept me coming back here.

Teaching them by example is a lot more effective than "picking on them." They just get mad and act even more n00bish than before.
Some of them will never learn by example, but others will.
