That depends on a variety of conditions:
1. What is your age?
2. What is your experience?
3. What is your availability?
4. Do you have transportation?
Is it reliable?
5. Do you have a good wardrobe for presenting yourself at an interview?
6. Can you work any shift?

Since you have access to a computer, look in the classified ads for your local newspapers, especially the small ones.
Check local employment agencies, especially temporary agencies. That will give you a chance to earn money while you check out the job. If you and the job are a match, it is not unusual to go from temporary to permanent. For some reason, it is always easier to find a job when you already have one.
If you are a student, check with your school, they usually have a list of people who will hire their graduates or their current students. Go to your local state department of employment and get help at no cost. Good luck to you.

Ask people around you if they know of anyone hiring. Post your resume on Monster, Hot Jobs, etc. Some places will allow you to put the amount of money you would like, the type of company you would like, area, etc. I don't know what your field is, but sometimes going through a headhunter or agency is good. Then, you can tell them what you want to do, what work you won't do and they will find the job for you.

There are also a lot of great sites that will help you with your resume, interview, etc. Don't get frustrated because it's a long process. But definitely follow up with companies and make sure they know that you are interested.

Look on monster.com, employment ads in the newspaper, and employment agencies. Just make sure you set an allocated amount of time to searching for a job. Good luck!
