A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am!" The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You’re in a hot air balloon approximately 30 feet above sea level. You are 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude." She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican.""I am," replied the man. "How did you guess?" "Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me." The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat." "I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?" "Well" said the man, "You don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You’ve risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You’ve made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect ME to solve your problem. You’re in EXACTLY the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it’s MY fault."

The joke in and of itself is great for the political arena!

But I think it does something that the answers point out clearly. Democrats can critisize and slander republicans who just laugh off their feeble attempts, but say something bad about a democrat, even if it is the truth and they can't handle it.

It also shows that democrats have no sense of humor. Too bad because if they only listened to what they really say, they would die laughing.

because that a lengthy time period in the past, human beings have looked for the that technique of love. yet even the comprehensive philosophers, with their profound definitions, might want to no longer completely contact its genuine essence. In a survey of four-8 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds, children share their perspectives on love.

Ironically and perhaps the funniest thing about this joke is that the Republican man is in the same position as the Democrat woman. They are both in the same hot air balloon and neither of them and they got there ON a lot of hot air. The difference is that the man is ignorant enough to think he knows where he's going and arrogant enough to think he can give directions. When one really deconstructs the joke, the woman didn't blame the man like the Republican man claims she did. It's typical of a Republican to have a reading comprehension problem and to see this joke as something that is just about the Democrat being lost. When in fact it is just as much about the Republican being lost for all the same reasons: being risen up by alot of hot air yet not knowing where he is going. Tell me, did the republicans keep all their promises to the Christian right? No they didn't, and thank God for that.

I noticed this is ticking off a lot of Dems. Boy, they just hate it when the truth is laid out for them to see! I love it!!

Where did you get this from? Sean Hannity?

Not funny. And I fail to see where the Democrat is blaming the Republican for anything.

It is far too accurate to be funny.

But I like it anyway.

you have the Republican and Democrat switched. Republicans are way too stupid to even know what a GPS is nor what latitude and longitude mean.
