I'm sure i'll miss something..... but here's my important points.
The locket that harry and dumbledore found in the cave (the fake) - it is widely believed that it has been scene in grimauld place. Unfortunatly, we don't know if it's still there because mundungus is a thief.
Watch out for pollyjuice potion. after all, it's been used in 3 out of the first 6 books. then again, possible that it's been done so wont be done again.
dumbledore says that there are no other founders objects at hogwarts, other than the sorting hat and the sword, so harry will have to look else where... where to start, I have no clue.
Sorry... this isn't really much help.... but check out some really cool editorials on www.mugglenet.com or read through the timelines etc at the harry potter lexicon.

Wow I read all the books but your question is just too indepth. They dont give nearly enough space for all that. I never though I would say this because I am a big fan of reading but If you just want a general of what went on Id say the quickest easiest thing to do is watch the movies,. The movies are a little off(especially the goblet the whole leaving characters out just irrated me) but it will give you the idea of whats going on.

Peter Pettigrew's life debt to Harry - Prisoner of Azkaban
Dumbledore told Harry that there may come a time when he would not regret sparing Peter's life, and that time has not yet come.
Gleam in Dumbledore's Eye - Goblet of Fire
When Dumbledore discovered that Voldemort used Harry's blood to regenerate, there was a gleam of something that looked like triumph in Dumbledore's eye. The significance of Harry's blood being used for Voldemort's regeneration has yet to be explained.
Petunia's knowledge of Dementors - Order of the Phoenix
At the beginning of Order of the Phoenix, Petunia divulges the fact that she has knowledge about Dementors, even though she has little knowledge of anything else about the wizard world. She has also been in correspondence with Dumbledore, that Vernon knows nothing about.

well.. I have read all six books as well, but It's been a while....
well maybe you should keep in mind who killed Sirius, and dumbledore.... and that Harry is trying to find the last horcruxes.
I think that as soon as you start reading the 7th it will all start coming back to you.
