I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. After looking into each candidate, Ron Paul has not only got my vote but impressed me with his voting history and stances.

However, think about it: our country consists of the same people that voted for Bush TWICE. We believe everything that we hear in the media and don't question it. Do you think that people will pry themselves away from their TV's and do some of their own research to see why Paul is the best candidate?

ETA: I don't have a problem with those who disagree with Ron Paul because they know what he stands for, what he's done and believe otherwise. I have a problem with those that heard from a friend of a friend or from a radio talk show host that he's weird, so they close their eyes and believe it.

I wouldn't say that. Only about half of the registered voters actually vote in the Presidential election. A lot of it is apathy, a lot of it is ignorance of the candidates or people give their vote to either candidate. Now Americans have a candidate they can get excited about. We can have the biggest turnout ever. Americans do watch to much television. They also don't read enough. Americans are to ethnocentric meaning they don't mingle with different people of different culture with different beliefs. If Americans traveled outside the U.S they would have a better understanding of worldview. So those are some things that Americans can work on from now until the election.

I completely agree! Ron Paul has impressed me as a candidate & a true patriot. Unfortunalty his views are lost on the slick big money candidates like Hillary & Guliani. If America truely stands for it's foundaing principles than Ron Paul would become the next President. Unfortunatley men with the good intentions seem to go unheard over the almighty dollar....
With that said he would certianly have my vote!

I'm with you - I don't have a problem with those who just disagree Ron Paul's stance on the issues, but it's the ones who don't know anything about him, and still bash him who annoy me. Some people just seem determined to run him down on every question saying he's a nutjob or they'd sooner vote for RuPaul. And I've noticed that it's usually the same exact people every single time!!

I don't think it's a question of ignorance. Some people just don't agree with his platform. To each his own.

However, I see a lot of untrue assertions in this forum that say he's a liberal, he's an isolationist, his foreign policy is weak, or he's wacky. These are negative comments made out of ignorance.

As of right now, Ron Paul has my vote. It's too bad that the majority of the voting public prefers the status quo. They ought to open their eyes. This country needs to get back on track.

I saw him on Bill Maher and he was really impressive. I am going to urge my Republican friends to vote for him in the primary, and urge my Democratic friends to vote in the republican primary and vote for him. That way, Ron Paul vs the Democratic winner is good choice for me.

Not that Paul has a chance in hell to win the Republican nomination...

I voted for GWB 2X (like the Democrats gave anyone much of a choice; a wacky tree hugger; Gore, and a kept man; Kerry), and am planning on voting for Paul. He strictly votes in Congress, based on the Constitution(y'know that "living and breathing document" according to Algorezerria), and that's good enuff' for me.

Not at ALL!
I read his voting record
I would NEVER want anyone with HIS record to be President!
