Not going to happen. I wish but, no. This country is just not progressive enough yet. Some states are - yes. But the majority of this country is not ready for a female or African-American President. Middle America aka the Bible Belt will put a stop that real quick. Maybe in about 50-100 years. But, right now. No. It would be foolish for Democrats to nominate either one. Republicans are hoping for this ticket or either one of them on a ticket I'm sure due to all the media hype.
It's a shame that this the state of this country - but, it is a very degressive and conservative country still. After all, we have women who claim to be independent thinkers, Republicans, and Christian all in the same sentence - that in itself says this country is simply not ready for anybody but a white male president.

No offense to anyone with different beliefs.
I do not wish for Hilary Clinton as president, not because she is a woman as I am for woman presidents, but because I am anti Iraq war and she is going to continue supporting it.
Obama has ideas to change the US for the better but he doesn't back up what he promises and will end up only following through on a few of them.
We will let America decide and beliefs can change in an instant.

I agree. A Clinton-Obama ticket would suit me fine. I'm waiting to hear Fred Thompson say he's against the war in Iraq. Republican's like to have both ways.

Yes, I fear one of them will make it, too.
I would gladly vote for Colin Powell and wish he would be willing to run. With his military background and intelligence, I think he could easily be another Ronald Reagan who really helped to pull the country together in various ways.
And I would also gladly vote for Condi Rice who is one intelligent lady. She could make a big difference in so many ways and I would love to see her be the first female President.
But guess we're scraping the bottom of the barrel instead since those two didn't throw their towels in for the job.

I think you number is off a little. Hillary is only 46%. Obama is way behind her. If Fred Tomson runs neither on has a chance in you know were of winning.

No chance. Obama has no experience. Hilliary has a scrupulous past with her financial dealings.
