The series focuses on Miley Stewart played by Miley Cyrus, who lives a double life as an average teenage girl at school during the day and a famous pop singer, Hannah Montana, at night, concealing her real identity from the public other than her close friends and family. Only her close family and best friends knows that she is the famous pop superstar, Hannah Montana. Therefore, she needs to wear her wig!

So she can go to school and be normal on the outside world---it makes sense if you think about what celebrities go though---She sings her own songs and that is her in the wig.

I dont know about the lip singing part... but she doesnt have a stunt double... Kids know her as a blonde not a brunette.. Its so kids recognize her...I hope i answered your question...

itz her...sometimes 4 concerts...they dye her hair just in case...but its her and she doesnt lip sing either
