I know this may sound wierd, but chocolate has a kind of a bitter taste to me that I don't care for too much. Vanilla -- mmmm, sweet and delicate with a heavenly aroma which adds to the sensory experience of eating it.

I like chocolate more but I prefer the smell of vanilla.. perhaps its because people prefer the smell of vanilla :P and maybe chocolate is too sweet tasting for some people =]

well, actually, I think chocolate is a more popular flavor than vanilla... but I like vanilla better because I can put M&M's and confetti sprinkles in my vanilla ice cream without it tasting WAY too chocolatey.

Who knows? I'm a chocolate fan in a house full of vanilla heads.
Makes no sense to me at all.
