I mean haven't they lost their war already when they become the "enemy" by killing innocent children and then justifying it? What is wrong with people these days, if they are the richest and most educated country in the world isnt it disgusting that they are comparing their actions with a group of people who cannot even use a toilet? First and foremost, America is not the richest or most educated country in the world nor do we claim to be. What we do have is plenty of opportunities. I should know. I am a female and Hispanic (which truly doesn't mean anything), but I have everything I want because I have worked my butt off for it. And most importantly, before you make a comment like that do your research.
Another thing, to say Americans (do you mean all or just a few?) have the moral equivalence of the Taliban? Are you crazy, bored or are you just throwing out questions because you are frustrated with life?
Killing innocent children?? Do you really know what is going on? Before you go on and on about how horrible America is, let me tell you something. Do you happen to know that these so called terrorists (call them Taliban, or whatever) place place their arms, missiles, weapons, or whatever near schools, residential areas? Do these terrorists have any regard for their own children when they use them as suicide bombers?
Why can't they use a toilet? If you study any history at all, you will see that the area that the Taliban came from was one of the most civilized societies, but through their own wars and destruction (America hadn't been discovered yet so you can't blame them) decimated all the advances and set them back while the world moved forward.

a killing is not a killing. In your world is there a difference between a child dying in an auto accident vs a serial killer stalking, kidnapping, and killing that same child???
There is collateral damage in war. After all, how do you fight an enemy that hides behind human shields??? (and why no criticism for that tactic???)
We have some of the best and "smartest" weapons in the world, but that doesn't mean that they're going to work flawlessly.
You talk as though we are targeting civilians, targeting women, and targeting children.
If we were doing that, don't you think we'd be killing a heck of a lot more people??? If that's what we're trying to do, we've failed miserably.
Yes it would be nice if we could all just get along and everyone would love each other. That's nice until someone pulls out a gun and starts shooting at you.....fine time to walk up to em and give em a hug.
And why is it that people like you want us to "stop the killings" in Darfor, but don't want us to "stop the killings" in Sadaam's Iraq???

Weird....you use the word "war" and then try to give a boundary on how it should and shouldn't be fought....and when it is won or lost. War has never been fair. War is not lost by killing the innocent....that is just a sad part of it. War is the worst of mankind, and trying to understand or determine when it is unfair allows ignorance to judge and that is never good, but becoming the norm. in today's world.
Why does having a female leader mean you are a better country? Does that mean that if we are the last country to have a certain type of leader than we are wrong....you are extreme in so many of your ideas that it comes across as either American envy or American hatred. The problem here lies in ignorance on your behalf.

Terrorists are the most difficult enemy to fight because they either use the innocent for shields or murder them to create fear & more unrest. Any mistake made by the established government is a huge plus for terrorists groups & their MO is to do everything possible to induce the established power to fire on and kill the innocent. Couple that with a foreign force that doesn't know the language or customs & I suspect the US has no chance of stopping terrorist elements from taking all of the Mid East & Africa & have some reservations about stopping them from taking some European countries.
Can you say "Allah Akbar?"
Islam is a fine way to establish an authoritarian & repressive rule... if I wanted to control a country I'd use it to repress any dissent. As practiced in the Mid East Islam is Stalinism with a God.

Yeah, Bush is a bully, nothing anyone can do about it but wait him out. I see in today's news the Americans killed 7 more children in Afghanistan this weekend when they bombed a school. They must have gotten in the way. But not to worry, Bush is undoubtedly sending his deepest sympathy..
