There is a ton of stuff to do there! The best advice that I can give you is contact the chamber of commerce and ask for your FREE visitors packet. The packet contains free maps, information and COUPONS which save a ton of money! Hey who doesn’t want 15% off dinner of $4 off admission. There is a ton of stuff to do in the outdoors, pack a lunch and go see the beautiful mountains. The Great Smokey Mountains has swimming, hiking,playgrounds, and more you can spend days in the park! just driving through the mountains and seeing the landscape. If you have a little extra money to the Ripley's Aquarime in Gatlinburg. The kids will love it and it will be a nice place to cool down.

I have been there a few times, i think i might have been around 9. really just go around the town! there is alot there that will get their attention, just avoid the gorilla type ride in town (it will give you a headache :)
Both of the Ripley's museums are great (aquarium and the believe it or not one)
