Well, if you like your guys self absorbed; and, um, how to say this, "quick"; and, if you like a guy who doesn't like to communicate "afterwords" except with a snore and a grunt, by all means, accept! Oh I almost forgot, likely, he has a small, um, "member" and compensates by owning weapons, so, be on the guard when discussing his caliber!

I'm a con but my girlfriend is a lib (and a smart one at that). She has set me straight on many different things and I have done the same with her. Now she only registers as a democrat but she's really an Independent that walks a fine line that leans to the liberal side. I can't blame her for it.

Sure go out with the guy but don't talk politics on the first several dates. Wait till you really get to know each other.

My wife is a liberal and I am a conservative. Neither one of us is really extreme though. In the long run it actually makes for a lot of stimulating conversation. I find it much more gratifying to debate politics with an opposing point of view than just agreeing with each other. Try it out, its just a date. And who knows, you might come over to the dark side if all goes well.

We tend to focus too much on politics here, and we too often ignore the other aspects of our lives that make us who we are.

Some politically conservative people are actually intelligent, honorable, and fun to be around.

Just try to avoid discussing politics if you're afraid you'll disagree; you might have a good time!

It's not a waste of time...just don't talk politics.. I have dated Republicans in the past, but do not talk about politics until you have been together for a while, or it can go quite badly.

I wouldn't trust a congressman as far as I could throw him.

A con did, huh. Well, by your calling him one you must be a lib in which case he asked you out because he figures you are easy. So go out with him and give him a smile he can wear tomorrow.

Typical liberal bias showing through. Won't go out or associate with anyone who thinks different.
