I was just wondering how fast you ladies got your symptoms when you fell pregnant? Did you get them pretty much right after ovulation or was it later on? Just wanted some input! How fast can a woman actually get symptoms?

I have had 4 children. Each pregnancy was completely different. With my first, I had a rather "text-book" type of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I had morning sickness, but only in the first tri-mester. My second pregnancy, I was throwing up before I had even missed a period and it continued for the entire pregnancy. My 3rd pregnancy is a little bit of a blur since I had a 5 year old and a 2 1/2 year old and we were trying to sell our house and move. Not much morning sickness that I can recall. My 4th pregnancy was a total surprise. My older 3 children were 17, 15, and 12 and I had been taking birth control pills for 11 years when I found out I was 17 weeks pregnant! My doctor thought I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. No normal pregnancy symptoms with that pregnancy, not even a missed period since the hormones in the Pill confused my body into thinking it should be having a period so I had 2 normal periods and one light period before I found out I was pregnant and stopped taking the Pill. Symptoms can start as early as conception for some women. Each woman and each pregnancy truly is different.

I had no idea I was pregnant. I knew that my period was due but I really don't keep track. We weren't trying, in fact, we just got married May 20. I remembered that I had my period during my bridal shower which was 2 weeks before the wedding and 3 weeks after I hadn't got my period yet. I really didn't think much of it because I'm irregualr anyways. Well, I finally started cramping so I was just waiting to start bleeding. Several days went by and nothing. I took a test and sure enough! At about 5 1/2 weeks I noticed my jeans were uncomfortable and that I was gagging when I brushed my teeth. I also noticed that bacon was giving my heart burn and I had never experienced that. I've been sickly all day today and the scent of food is starting to bother me. I've also noticed that I can smell everything. I noticed that before I knew I was pregnant. I also had VERY sore breasts early on. Best of Luck to you!

With my son, I had no indicators different than a ignored era and a great being pregnant attempt. i'm 25 weeks with a woman now and perfect in the previous my era, I have been given some cramping, better discharge, sore breasts, purely approximately each symptom interior the e book! each being pregnant and each woman is distinctive so won't be in a position to truly say how briskly a woman oftentimes gets indicators.

I started having back and abdominal cramps and very tender/sore breasstsaround 3-4 days before my missed period. I thought at first they were period cramps.

I found out I was pregnant a few days after this after just having a "hunch" feeling to take a test.

The first two weeks I knew I was pregnant, I had no morning sickness -- so I thought maybe I would skip it in full. Boy was I in for a rude awakening when week 6 came (2 weeks after missed period), and I became ill morning, noon, and night. The extreme sickness lasted through week 14 for me -- going then to only morning time sickness. Morning sickness is still present at 22 weeks for me, but thats the only time I'm nauseaous.

I got symptoms with my son at about 2 weeks such as nausea & increased sensitivity to odors and flavours, then sore breasts at about 3 weeks.
With my daughter it was about the same but I experienced what I would call a severe decrease in energy & was tired all the time.

Since i didn't have any morning sickness, so i didn't feel anything. The only thing i had was just a missing period, then a couple weeks after that just bloating and constipation. That's it. I'm almost 13 weeks and still feel the same except now i waist has expanded about a couple sizes.

after about 3wks i could tell. my boobs were sooo sore and tender to the touch....literally. the water falling on them from the shower hurt.

also, this may be gross, but true. yeast infections are common during pregnancy because of the chemical changes down there. so, i had my first yeast infection (after about 2wks) because of being pregnant. i did not know i was preg because of this... because i never heard of y/i being associated with pregnancy. but it is....look that up if you'd like.

also, my appetite increase dramatically. i was so hungry in the mornings. i had to eat twice before lunch. i was lucky to not have much morning sickness though. another early sign is fatigue. you may be really tired and that is normal.

women get different symptoms at different times. but if you know your body and pay attention, you may notice within the first month.

everyone knew i was pregnant before i did.

i used to NEVER eat before i was pregnant. i'd eat maybe like a bag of chips a day. or a peanut butter sandwitch. family would even yell at me to eat a real meal.. i'm not underweight, i just have a slow metabolism and eat small meals and not often.

now randomly one day i started EATING.. and when I say EATING i mean E.A.T.I.N.G.!!! One day I turned to my boyfriend and said to him "I NEED A BURRITO!!" and, my boyfriend said.. "Okay..." and we went to the local Alberto's [mexican food place] where I got a burrito bigger than my head... Scarfed it down.. Looked at my boyfriend, and asked him if he was going to finish his.. Before he could answer I was already eating it..........

This was probably around a few days after I conceived... I had no idea I was pregnant or that there was even a chance I could be pregnant.

This continued until about 14 weeks.

I had weird eating habits, and it was worse before I knew I was pregnant for some reason. I ate weird things before I knew I was pregnant.. Like hot dog buns with chocolate milk mix in them.. I literally could NOT stop eating.. I ate almost constantly and HUGE meals.. I would even be nauseas, but so starving I would scarf down sandwitches that i could barely swallow down. But I was ALWAYS hungry for some reason..

food was my top priority. i missed a very important bus, that i could see comming... because i needed a candy staw...

I would cry when I couldn't have the things I wanted to eat.. I had horrible mood swings and was extremely irritable. I was *very* unlike my regular self. I also couldn't stop burping.

My symptoms came about a few days before my period was supposed to start. At that point I knew because I know my body, so I went to get a test to confirm.
