Its great if people are doing it for the right reasons.
People only start getting arrogant when they feel they are superior to others. Or feel they are doing something really challenging that nobody else can do.
Some people choose this way of life because it suits them and they are comfortable with it. They see it as no mean feat as it is just them and their life.

It is the ideal that I strive towards.
The "simple living" part is challenging, because I have the resources to live beyond where I am now, and sometimes "The Joneses" get to me subconsciously....I have to admit it.
