Well, you obviously dont trust him which is a problem. I think you two should just be friends while he is gone. And when he comes back if the sparks are still there they will fly. But getting into a long distance relationship with someone you dont trust will do a lot of damage to your relationship.
*Edit*
If people around you can make you doubt him as much as they have, then you dont trust him as much as you think you do.

I'd tell him it's time to take a break from each other. He may cheat on you while he's away and of course, lie about it. This gives you both permission to date and then reassess whether to get back together when he gets back.
If he cheats on you when he's away and lies about it, you will probably eventually know about it somehow. It will be much more hurtful.
If you are dating while he is away, you can feel like you at least have a chance to be out in circulation for awhile and test the waters. If he's a player or has that tendency, you can bet he'll be doing that.

Depends on how old you are and how long you've been dating him...and whether this was going to lead to marriage or something...or if this is a teenage crush...You should have talked it over with him before he left...Talk to him on the phone about it, I guess...If you knew he was a player, why did you go out with him in the first place?

Do what you want. Do you really want to wait for him? Has moving to him crossed your mind? Have you found another guy?
Whatever you choose, life goes on, no need to pretend a long distance relationship is perfect.

depends. how long have you been dating? if its only been a few months then yes break up or at least go on a break. if its been years then 2 months isn't that long.
