consistent and so they are seen not to be racists them selves the problem is not race it is always one of education and culture that gves itself its atitude to life no one forces any one to get into trouble no one can have any excuse for committing crime regardless who we are we are responsible for our behaviour now so why d people blame others for their own failings But may be White America should just try saying sorry it will not hurt any one and there is much healing to be done yet

I can't speak for all of us, but I've pretty much gotten over holding people who are alive now responsible for the horrible things that were done to my ancestors. I see your point though, and have to agree that the africans who sold my ancestors were equally as guilty as the whites who bought them.

No, I won't be asking for apologies for slavery from Africans. Nor will I ask for an apology from our government.

Slavery is too far removed.

However, my grandmother, who is 95, deserves an apology from our government for Jim Crow.

Don't like what I said? Don't care. It's truth and cannot be ignored and anyone who writes off Jim Crow is a racist, plain and simple.

Choke on it.
