Ok, I know it is not healthy, but is it better than a hamburger or fries?

Its probably your best bet on their menu. With the complex carbs, low fat proteins, and all those veggies, its actually really good for ya. Of course thats if you dont add tons of cheese and crackers to it. On Guam they had *white* rice to go with it, not sure if they do that in the states. Brown rice woulda been yummy, too.

As far as fast food goes, yes wendy's chili is healthy, at least on paper. The thought of Fast Food workers and vats of chili sitting all day might give me pause though.

I would say so, it's not made much different than other restaurants or what you would make at home. The guy is right about the burgers though, that's what they do with the leftover hamburgers, but as they are fully cooked there shouldn't be a problem. As for the chili sitting there in the pot - any chili lover will tell you that is a good thing- you don't rush chili, it improves with time.

I don't think so...we still have 2 Wendy's here in my city. But I did read that Arby's is buying them out. Fortunately for all us Wendy's lovers out there, they'll still be called Wendy's and have the same stuff. I'm not sure if the "buying out" will really make a big difference.

Yes I would say so because you are at least getting protein
from the meat and beans and a few veges maybe from
onions and garlic.

I would stick with chicken salad. Who knows what is in it. From what I heard most meat used in some fast food restaurants are Grade D meat and that means the meat is worst than what is the can dog food.

Better than fries, but still has plenty of carbs. Look on wendys.com and find the nutritional information and compare.
