That depends on how allergic you are to it. There are varying levels of allergic reaction. So that will vary from person to person. The best way to really know is to get tested for allergies by an allergy specialist.
Some people are not allergic at all.
Some people can get by with just some Benadryl or Claritin.
Some need allergy shots to be able to be around it.
And some need to build up their immunity with allergy shots before they ever even consider being around it.
And then with some things such as peanut butter for some people not even allergy shots will help and the person has to avoid it totally.

Yes you can have a dog. I am allergic to cats and I have had them all my life. It's the dander you are allergic to not the dog. Just keep your dog and house clean. Best of luck!

I think it is possible but you may have to take allergy medicine or get a shot if it is really bad. I hope this helps! =)

am slightly alergic to cats, i only get a little itchy around my eyes when i cuddle with them
btw you only need to ask it once
