I do agree with you in theory!
But I do believe that every situation has to be viewed on its own merit.
Sometimes there are circumstances that make a guy( and sometimes a gal) lose it.
Whether that makes a male not a man, I would question that.
Every situation has to be rated separately. I am not saying it is right! Just that there are sometimes things going on besides the obvious! Everybody has a breaking point.
And some of us seem to have a knack for driving our significant others over the edge.

Oh please, don't get me started. I'm 50...was married, now divorced 4 yrs. and dating again. Oh my gosh ! ! The men that I meet that have the emotional and relationship intelligence of a 20 yr. old. . . it stuns me. I adore, value, cherish and respect men...yet, even with my striving to be keen minded and aware of who I accept a date with...what comes to be discovered of these grown " men " that have the emotional and relationship intelligence of a very young man. . . it was a stunning discovery when I stepped out into the dating world again.
I have faith though. . .I know there are men out there who are aware emotional mature and still blasted fun. In the meantime...life is enjoyed...I'm patient.
The hitting of girls that you spoke of. . . I agree with you. . . to me that goes without saying. I'd not stand for that for even half a second.

I have known a couple of them but not that were hitting myself.
It is to friends.. One I am just leraning about with bruises today. Never should a man hit a woman. They are so big & strong and women are smaller and weaker.

Sadly, I know a few. Only one ever hit me & he ended up with my boot to his head...I wore steel-toed Doc Martens back then...LMAO that was the last time I saw him!

its stupid when guys abuse there wifes/g/f what kind of example are you showing your kids and other ppl.. that your such a great man or such a little boy.
i had this one guy at work who told me that women are suppose to be hit and he was divorced a little time later
