We are not inherating the earth from our fathers, merely borrowing it from our children.Save the planet!?

Question

Why are we paying 3-4$ for a gallon of gas when we are getting the gas from the earth that belongs to us? Why can't we walk outside in big cities like Houston,New York City,and Portland without polluting our lungs with hazardous air-born waist? I thought we were living in the 21'st century, were science was advanced!

There is NOTHING wrong with using assets. There is EVERYTHING wrong with misusing, hording or wasting those same assets.
