If your daughter wants to see you, it seems like she should be able to, regardless of what her husband wants, and regardless of whether or not she has MS. And if she doesn't want to see you, and she doesn't want you to see your grandkids, then your issue is with her, and not your son-in-law.

Only if your believe your daughter is mentally incapable or too physically incapacitated to making informed choices/abused/neglected and/or the child is being either abused or neglected, in which case you should contact Social Services in the county that they reside in; otherwise, you are better off to try to work things out with the son-in-law as it is the parent's rights to raise their children how they see fit, even if that means excluding extended family members for any reason.

The downside is if you invovle Social Services and they find no abuse/neglect/incapacitation, you are likely to alientate them for life against you. Be sure of your facts before you proceed.

You could invest in seeing a family law attorney, but in most States, there is no such thing as "Grandparents" rights.

The only way to get a good answer to this is see a lawyer in your state since state laws vary on this issue. If they can get statements from your daughter about her wishes, it may well shoot him down.

Unless the boys are in Florida, it's up to the parents to decide if their children will have contact with their grandparents (or anyone else).
