Hi.I have this insteresting question posed by my peers and i have to do a survey.Pls give me 5 min or so of your time, thank you very much.
Question : If your one of the following must die (touch wood),which will you prefer to die?
A: Your wife/husband
B: Your child.

Interesting question. Did you know, a variant of that question was asked to a lot of people in the Middle East, and a lot of people in the United States- except it was asked as... If only one of the following could continue living, which would you choose?
1) Your mother
2) Your child
3) Your significant other
The majority of people in the US chose their child, hands down.
But, in the Middle East, the majority chose their mother. Why?
"Because you can replace a child, and you can replace a significant other, but you can't replace your mother....."

Any time it is between a child or an adult one who must die, the adult should, this way if gives a child the chance to live a little longer.
However, putting a harder issue on your ?, if the child is terminally ill, then who? Let the child life their life as long as possible, giving them the best memories you can, or because they are going to die anyway, let them go now?

Anyway, I had a thought like this a long time ago, only it was about my parents. I decided I would choose the one (to die) who would most understand why I chose them, which is that they are the one I loved the most.

Not offensive...just extremely hard to answer. The only way for me to choose...is to say that I just hope I go first! That would be the best choice for me!

Is this something like Sophie's Choice? Oh my God, what an ordeal. I'd rather die myself to have them live both.
But since you have to do this, (and I hate to say it), I think I'd choose my daughter to live, because she is still young.

It is offensive but albeit something(death) that occurs everyday. I honestly believe if I had to choose it would be my husband.

I would prefer my partner to die - it is not natural for parent to bury their child
I do not know what I would do if a child of mine dies.

my husband. I would hate it very much but since it is my job to protect my child, that is my choice. He would do the same.

Shut up no one can answer that, anyone who does answer it with either/or are sick. You shouldn't even ask questions like that. You don't get choices in real life love!
