Al Gore made a wonderful documentary film you should make a point of seeing. It's called An Inconvenient Truth and it explains global warming in understandable terms. Global warming is a phenomenon of importance to every human being.

the greenhouse effect is raising the temp globally .
mostly it is carbon monoxide that we put into the atmosphere. A decrease in the number of trees we have to process CO and CO2 has help the process drastically. Emissions from your typical car and airplane do alot of the damage. Throw in certain factory emissions and we are a little screwed.
This didnt originate with Al Gore. Every major country other than the US signed the Kyoto Accords. look it up.

Global Warming is a cyclical even that occurs on earth, as does Global Cooling. Scientists in Japan have actually proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we are actually heading for a global COOLING, not a global warming. We are SO far away from being able to affect the worlds weather with our tiny usage of resources in contrast to the worlds size, that it's funny to listen to those that scream WE ARE GOING TO MELT as they live in houses with air conditioners and take private jets to speak about global warming that put off 3000 gallons of fuel to get there.

It's a myth invented by Al Gore, who also claims to have invented the Internet.
Global warming is natural, as it's what melted the ice ages. Gore is a fat porker liberal hypocrite, who has twisted things in order to stir up trouble and to distract us from our real problems.
People such as him, who run around like lunatics claiming the sky is falling or the Earth is burning up need to undergo a mental evaluation. They're really not all there, in my opinion.
And to think that this man was vice president, and almost elected president. Scary.
