I was considering starting with the drums. Does anyone here play the drums or have any advice? If you do play, do you enjoy it? I want it to be something that I will enjoy playing day in and day out.

I also play the piano, but I decided I wanted to pick up a 2nd instrument.

I play the drums....It's really cool..but you must work hard and daily at least 20 minutes....I use the drums as a percussion instrument in my music composition :)

If you are talking about playing a drum set then you will find it much easier than playing a piano. The only thing with drums is that you come up with the beat yourself. I have yet to see a trap set music sheet. You just gotta learn the basic styles of beats like jazz, rock, country, etc and learn how to ad lib in between phrases.

I play guitar and I must out of all the instrument I have tired to learn the drums are really easy. I only practiced twice a week and was really good. You will have no problem. Good luck

I play drums with a local band. thoroughly enjoy it. love to beat out those tunes
