Went to an eyeglass place and they said you cannot fix scratches. Just bought a scratch remover from Walgreens and we'll see if it works...

As really strange as it sounds, my video store helped me out. If your glasses are like mine, expensive, this is worth a try for you too. They fix cd's that are scratched so when I was in there renting a movie I put my glasses on the counter to rummage through my bag for my money. She noticed the scratch in the lens and offered to fix it. I was totally surprised .......ya know....it's a video store?!! So I said sure (what's to lose, they're scratched) and what a really great job, they are scratch free still and that was months ago. I forgot what movie I got, but they have a customer for life!!!

There is a liquid that you can get at most eyeglass stores (maybe even Walmart or something) that you brush over the entire lense and it fills in the scratches and doesn't leave anything that disrupts your vision. Look for scratch filler...I'm not sure of the exact name or brand.
