My glass catfish is kept in 3s and they seem to be okie and all. But lately, they've turned transparent blue. Not the whole fish, just the part near their heads.

My first thought is that the tissue that surrounds the internal organs (called the peritoneum) which is normally silver in color might be reflecting something blue either in, or near the tank (gravel, decor, background): http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Catfis74.jpg The color of these tends to look a little different depending on what's in the tank with them. For the "true" colors, they should be in a planted tank (plant's don't have to be real, but they like the hiding places): http://www.tjorvar.is/assets/images/autogen/a_Glass_catfish1.jpg
