If the authorities were to get their proverbial fingers out, there would BE NO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS - they'd all be turned around on arrival and sent back, leaving all the services WE'VE paid for for US to use, as designed ! ! !

we should not cater anyone disabled or other, while there are citizens here at home unable to get help why should the people of other countries receive so much from our country?
Should by some chance we show up at their door, we would be either locked up or possibly killed they do not want out-siders coming into their countries, and have laws that prevent
that from happening, they abide by those laws with visas and
permission to enter their countries. While here we no longer
seem to abide by the laws set for illegal aliens and they are storming our borders like ants to a picnic! They receive all
the SS help, housing, medical, food, clothing, things many of
our citizens cannot get because of the restrictions involved.
If they cannot stay in their own country, they should enter ours
the legal way, and work as the immigrants of the old days to
support themselves. If not, place them in a holding camp to
await their transportation back over the border where they came from. Not live comfortably here just because they were
brazen enough to cross the border, They should be governed
to take care of their disabled best they can with their own people. This includes medical help .bread and water which is more then they were getting where they came from.
As long as our country makes it so comfortable for them to
live here, providing them with all the things many of our own
citizens cannot afford or obtain, and committing crimes that
they are not punished for it will continue. They should be shown
this country is not the place for them.

'Injun' -funny, I was just writing to another question about how North America has turned into such an individualistic society that we often don't have a clue what is going on with other human beings around the world-and also often don't care or do anything about it.
You answer disgusts me. I almost grabbed a bucket to barf in. Your answer is vile, evil, heartless ect ect. Some illegal immigrants are so desperate to leave the horrendous conditions of their home country that they will do anything to come to "this" country(ies) of "freedom."

As 'isotope2007' said, people are being raped, and slaughtered all over this crazy and sick world, and we won't open our arms to them and offer them support??

As for people with disabilities, I would say why not? If we have the technology, and the means, why would we not offer services, help ect that they are probably not able to receive in their home country?
If you were really worried about money, then you'd write to your president/prime minister and tell them to stop being an idiot spending BILLIONS of dollars on guns, and spend that money on helping people to heal (spend the money on better health coverage).

Unless you are First Nations/Native, YOU are from an immigrant family. We are all immigrants, so what makes you so superior that you are allowed to live here, and not another human being?

Unless we start popping out a sh!t load of kids soon, by the time we're (I'm 27) at the age of retirement, we will have no one to work and keep our economy going.....so you're really just screwing yourself in the end with that attitude...lol...

No one that enters illegally should get special treatment. Bash me all you want, but there are rules and people that have been playing by them should come first. If they want to come into this country then do it the right way and sign the guestbook on the way in. The U.S. makes so mnay accomadations to allow people to enter legally that there is no excuse not to do so. I think it is a drain on the economies of the "first world" countries and allowing illegals all the same benefits as citizens and legal documented immigrants awaiting citizenship is a disservice to those people. I say this as the child of immigrants that did it the right way and the first of my family born on U.S. soil. I think this is a huge problem for the U.S. and U.K. and they both need to get tougher and perish the thought I use the word, but.....DEPORT illegal aliens. It is one of the biggest steps these countries in particular can take towards insuring proper care for their citizens and a viable future. I would never say end all immigration, just stop the illegals and enforce the laws in place. There is a reason they are referred to as ILLEGAL afterall.

Countries in the "western world" have policies of accepting a certain number of "refugee" claimants. I believe the decision to do so was based on humanitarian mores.

Someone, I guess foolishy judging from the answers here, felt it was somehow "inhumane" to leave these people to be tortured, raped, murdered etc in their own countries. Go figure. I mean why should we care if children are being raped and brutalized as long as we are all comfy here at home.

You can claim refugee status only from certain countries designated as such.

Refugees arriving in western countries are given a settlement loan, which has to be paid back, language classes, settlement services and receive assistance finding employment.

They are screened medically before arriving in the country and yes, they do receive medical services once they have refugee status.

However if none of you feel this is fair then I suggest you all start having a wack of children who will support you with your disability pensions, your medical services, and your senior pension plans.

Roughly y'all need to have about 18 kids each in order to maintain the status quo - have at it.

Or accept that the day will come sooner than you think that there wont be enough working people under the retirement age to provide those services.

FYI unemployment and social assistance usage rates are way lower for immigrants, compared to the "born here, belong here, this is my country, get out" crowd.

Gotta have someone around to make you feel superior - tho I wonder, what is that exactly that makes you think you are superior?

I don't think that anyone who comes into a country illegally should be eligible for government services. Being disabled makes no difference in my opinion. These agencies have a tough enough time trying to meet the needs of the lawful citizens!

RE CINNALOCKS
that was the most ignorant pile of garbage i have read so far. lol wow you sure are full of useless information aint ya?

i believe that if they are here with no papers they should be sent back home and if they had kids here just to stay then they should be sent back with their parents till they are of adult age and can come back to their country of birth

but when we say this we mainly think about hispanics
and what bothers me the most is that these arabs and hindus indians what ever please forgive me for not having the correct nationality and ethnicity im so sorry but my point is that they come here by the dozen and i dont see anyone sending them home

i see islamic muslims arabs what ever coming here with their kids and applying for assistance and getting homes and cars creditcards wic welfare what ever
and that upsets me because the USA is quick to kick the hispanics out but these people hae a free ride

i do not want to pay for some ones disability when they arent citizens because i have my own disability that i have to deal with and you dont see me asking for assistance in my own country.

thank you

Even back in the 1800-1900 or so when people came to this country and were disabled and couldn't support themselves they were denied entry.

There are basically as I see it presently two components to the question; 1. 'Catering' to people who are disabled'. 2. 'Come into the country illegally.

1. Helping those on disability in the country (I hope they are the 'minority' there presently) I see as our Christian duty.
2. The 'illegals' should be given something to help them; whether it is 'full service' help; presently I doubt it; but am willing to listen to others to diminish a large ignorance on my present part.
