Olivia is a 4 syllable name and I thought of giving her my middle name of Rose, but I think a 2 syllable middle name might be nicer. What do you all think? What about Olivia Stacy?

Hmm, so a lot of people seem to like Olivia Rose. Well, that's good. Perhaps I will stick with it then as it is a family name. My great grandmother was named Rose and my middle name is Rose, so having my daughter's middle name be Rose would be kind of nice.

This is spooky. I read the 'headline' of your question in the list and had come up with a name before I read the full question.
I came up with Rose..........
To me Olivia is a classical name, where as Stacy is not, so my feeling is that the two do not fit.
Really do like Olivia Rose..........

I think Olivia Rose is a beautiful name. I don't like Stacy. There is no reason why you can't have a 1 syllable middle name with a 4 syllable first name! Don't let what other people tell you keep you from naming YOUR child what you want!

Stacy is not really middle name material. With Olivia, I don't think the middle name should end in "a" or "y". Because Olivia is such a soft sounding name (pretty), the middle name should be more grounded by ending in a consonant sound.
How about:
Olivia Nicole
Olivia Michelle
Olivia Lynette
Olivia Alese
Olivia Paige
Olivia Diane
Olivia Celeste
Olivia Faith
Olivia Grace
Olivia Kate
Olivia Constance
Good luck and congratulations!

I like Olivia Rose, but if you are leaning towards a 2 syllable name how about Olivia Marie, Olivia Nicole or Olivia Michelle?

I love Olivia Rose, in fact, that is one of my best friend's names:) But, I don't like Olivia Stacy, Stacy sounds too stuck up.
I also like the combinations of:
Olivia Marie
Olivia Renee
Olivia Michelle
Olivia Danielle
Olivia Patricia
Olivia Paige
Olivia Reese
Olivia Grace
and Olivia Katherine
Good luck!

Olivia rose is my favourite too, also:
Olivia Jade
Olivia Margaret
Olivia charlotte
Olivia Grace
Olivia Stacy seems to have too many "y" sort of sounds in it with olivia sort of having a 'ya'as its last syllable
