I have a dvd disc with a scuff (not so much a scratch) on it. Is there anyway to get of these, or even very minor scratches, without buying a dvd repair kit. Any homemade methods (besides toothpaste) that does work?

lf it's more a scuff, find any material that's 100% cotton, make sure it's clean, and rub it over the area first in a circular motion (around the disc), then a back and forth motion (accross the disc). This works like a charm for me, and won't leave any residues on the disc that could damage your dvd player. Good Luck!

I have never tried this but Heloise says that a little white not gel toothpaste rubbed in the circle cleans them really well. Use a soft cotton cloth.
