A lot depends on where you are from and how far you are willing to travel from home to play, considering the costs associated with coming home for breaks/weekends. I am a total fan of the Mid American Conference. They are aligned with three bowl games (Motor City, GMAC, International) and play a top-notch out of conference schedule. Included are teams like Bowling Green, Toledo, Miami of Ohio Ball State, Northern Illinois, Akron, etc. etc. Also great academic schools. Good luck with your choice.

i accept as true with the solutions above. you're taking a team like Alabama or Florida and placed them against the Lions. The Lions could kill them. look at it this variety. Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, J Russel, and an incredible sort of alternative super college gamers are suffering to make a NFL roster. If the precise adult males are having a hard time making a roster (Troy Smith) then how could the different college gamers on that school team face up against an NFL opponent. Im from Ohio, So Cleveland vs Ohio State. Cleveland could wipe the floor with O State.

University of South Florida seems to be teetering on the edge of breaking into the 1st tier of college football. They beat WV and Louisville over the last 2 years and have a tough out of conference schedule (Auburn this year).
Good luck!

Well Rutgers seems to be on their way, Nevada, San Jose State, and Fresno State of the WAC. Miami Ohio, Toledo, Norther Ill. of Mac, Any C-USA team, and if you are a QB PLEASE go to Georgia Tech and give them some good consistent QB play. They would have been a BCS team if the had better QB last year.

Well if you're good go to my team Penn State, thats kinda a big school, but JoePa makes sure you still get an education and playing time. But if it doesnt sound good try a school like Hawaii, great atmosphere and it's a team that needs to get back on track.

Illinois. The Fighting Illini need more good men, and they are rising from the disaster of the past couple of seasons ...
Memorial Stadium is under renovation, and will greatly enhance the football experience once it is done.
