Yes, respect because they made it to the finals, but not as much because they play in the east.

yes for sure. They kinda stunk against the Spurs but played great against Detroit and Detroit is pretty damn good even on their bad days. Lebron knows how to lead a team and make his fellow players better and give them confidence. Don't know if they'll make the finals next year but they will be a better team next year. If Gibson gets some more consistency and so does Lebron, man this team is maybe one key member away from really making a strong push every year for a while. Lebron and Gibson are super young. Get a really strong and consistent big guy and look out. You have to respect them because it's not easy to make the finals. No matter what, I feel you always have to respect the teams that make the finals, if it was easy to do, Cleveland would have done it years ago and this was their first time to make it ever! Go cavs, but go Spurs more!

I'm a huge Spurs fan, and I still totally respect the Cavs. They did play awesome in game 4 in the finals. I mean...we only won by one point. Lebron is the allstar of the team, so he's more known, but what about all the other players? They played just about as good as Lebron. Every game in the finals, it was always about Lebron. No one cares about the others.
I'm not even a Cavs fan, and I like the other players just like Lebron.

I'm from Cleveland and I respect LeBron James. He is certainly one of the best players the league has seen (although he is, in my opinion, not THE best). That being said, the Cavaliers are not a complete team. I can't stand to watch them simply because it is one-on-five. LeBron needs a second good player on the team (right now Ilgauskas may be the second-best, which is a major step down) before the Cavs win a championship. I respect LeBron, but the team around him is awful.

I give LeBron props for taking a team with basically not much talent to a championship game. I can give him respect. To say Kobe wouldn't have a chance is out there. Kobe is a very talented player and they don't have much talent either but i would say they have more than the Cav's. I think there's no doubt Kobe could have done it, and at least won 1 game in the Championship series.

I am a macho Spurs fan, and i do have respect for the Cavs. I think it might have been a little early this year, but if this series happens again next year, i can guarantee you it wont be a sweep(although the spurs would probly win again unless LeBron gets more talent around him). and maybe in 3 or 4 years, the Cavs will be the one sweeping other teams.
The Cavs and the Jazz are the future of the East and West.

Much respect for all of them.
Their D is as tough as you could only imagine it, their D is the reason they went as far as they did.
I am sure that they will work hard all summer to improve on their offense.
This was a great run, and they have a couple of very promising rookies.
I think that next season we will see a CAVS team that is going to win close to 60 games in the reg. season, and a CAVS team that will make it to the finals again, and possibly win it.

Yes, I do. Mostly because they played with heart, especially at home. They're a young team, and they played great defense on one of the better offensive teams this year. I really look forward to the day that they win a title.
P.S. They shouldn't trade Drew Gooden.

I've got great respect for LeBron, he's basically put that team on his back and carried them to the finals. As for the rest of the spares on that team, not much respect at all.
