Just in the chemist at lunch... when I saw a nun collecting her birth control pills...... lol.........

The pill also helps lighten the pain some woman experience during their period or maybe she is just taking it in order to have control over her period, it does shorten it in many cases from 7 to 4 days, or maybe she is just using it for her skin, being on the pill can help with allot of skin problems, if all of the above are ruled out well then there might be something else going on. LOL

They are often given for heavy or painful periods dear...so i doubt she is bonking the vicar. Am sure the vicar is more interested in having a cup of tea and a slice of cake *LOL*

They were probably for one of her flock.. but you asked why would a nun take the pill I will tell you the one true correct answer....Imagine the scandal if she got pregnant. The catholic church has got enough on its plate with the priests without worrying about the nuns too. THey have to take them the priest and the bible tells them to avoid scandal; at all costs least they cost the church any money in maintaince, lawsuits etc, not to mention nappies.

Some people take birth control pills even though that have sworn themselves to a life of celebisy because he helps makes their periods less painful and lighter. She could be buying them for this reason.

Maybe she has severe cramps and pain with her period or she is not regular. My doctor prescribed birth control to me for those very reasons.
