"For-profit" schools are like all other businesses, no matter what they say, the customer ( or in this case, the student) will always come second to profits.

ps I think the other answer confused 'for-profit' with 'private.' Of course there are thousands of private, 'non-profit' colleges. Harvard, Duke, Uof Chicago, Stanford and other highly prestigious schools.
