I recently choreographed a really fun tap solo to "Wonderful Night" by Fatboy Slim. It's a really fun song, but if you use the whole thing, it will need a little editing (I think they say the f word twice, but it's not until the end of the song).
Or, if you'd rather go in a different direction, At the Hop by Danny and the Juniors is fun, or Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, although that is a little overdone sometimes, as is Puttin on the Ritz. But they are good songs to dance too - that's why they're overdone!

There are lots of good choices in the music from "Chicago" ("They both reached for the Gun" is really fun). If she wants a tap staple, "In the Mood" is a great option.
Here are a few more ideas:
Rock Around the Clock
Signed Sealed Delivered
Rhythm Nation
Born to be Alive
Fulsom Prison Blues

Tell her to try "Sir Duke" by Stevie Wonder, " Din da da" George Krantz or "smells like teen spirit" by Nirvana. Interesting choices I think.
