Yes my question is based on conditions which will affect how us women feel from the inside.

And don't go jumping to conclusions. I say, some men. But then again, women always carry that extra baggage that makes life harder. For example, why is there a women's day and not a men's day?

Women get treated as second class citizens. That happens today.
Men get more pay on average too.

Was there a women's president of the U.S.?
Didn't women get to vote last century ago in major countries?

International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on March 8 every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. Started as a political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries (primarily Russia and the countries of former Soviet bloc).

From what I see here , a lot of people loves ''Sex and the city''...It's all about conditions, a lot of people said it, and to put men and women in some sort of categories is downgrading for both ''sides''...but it's seems that it's more comfortable and easy to say that men are pigs and women sluts in these days ...and it's sad! I'm curious to see what answer gets picked the best , the one that has some compelling arguments( and I'm not talking about my answer) or the one that contains whatever the asker needs to hear! Have a nice day!

If there was a Men's Day, it would be considered downright sexist without a second thought.
The only same hardships men and women could have are things like:
Financial problems
End of serious relationship
Death of spouse or other family member
Depression or any other illness
Pregnancy doesn't count because women can choose to not have children. Periods are the only gender based thing.
Its not fair to say a female's life is tougher because not all men will have the same opportunities, and vice versa. Therefore, it balances itself out. I'm pretty sure men suffer a hell of a lot when they don't have the money to provide for their families or have to deal with the pain of loss. So after all that, do you still think women suffer more?
The sad part is that some women don't realize how much power they have. It wasn't until women FORCED the issue that they got the right to vote. Men could have simply said "No" and left it at that, but that's not how it went. Women used their power to earn more rights. So it sounds like to me that women cut themselves short and assume they don't have the same chances.

huh? I think people in general will have a hard life based on the choices they make or don't make. We shape our own destiny somewhat by the choices we make everyday. Men might have it a little harder in life because they are expected to be the "man" and not show their emotions to anyone at anytime for fear of it being seen as weakness. Same reason more men suffer heart attacks than women, because they hold everything inside.

I'm a little confused about what you're asking but assume you are asking who has a harder life. I think woman suffer sexual discrimination...even in close relationships...and always having to live of to standards of what sexy is
...I think men suffer having to "be a man"...always having to live up to some idea about what a man is ....not emotional, not who they are...etc
Men and woman have different fears...like being raped or beaten vs having to go to war...but I agree that neither can claim they suffer more or less ....
evil woman cause a lot of suffering just like evil men....and being good or bad is not about someone's gender. ...but I do think that men have more power, so, in general, the evil ones can really cause more suffering.

Men don't suffer the same hardships that women do because what our society labels as "masculine" is valued far more than what our society labels as "feminine." Combine this imbalance in value with a fairly rigid system of gender where males and females who step outside of their "appropriate" label are scorned, and it becomes clear why many of the issues that we have today (ie. lack of equal pay, sexual harrassment, exploitation, objectification, along with misogynistic violent crimes) disproportionately affect women.
What men who bemoan "discrimination against men" don't understand is that their "discrimination" is in a completely different league from the discrimination that women face on a daily basis. It is one thing to have some one person mistreat you due to their own prejudice (a bad thing). It's a *completely* different thing to have an entire system built against what it tells you you must be (a far, far worse thing).

Hardships in life are not gender based, they are based on individuals and how we each cope with day to day life. Some are good at coping and therefore dont notice any hardships in life whereas there are others on the other end of the spectrum.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around men suffering the same hardships as women. I simply don't believe that they can. A good man is empathetic as best he can be. The things that make their life difficult is acceptance that women are strong because they do not fear their emotional side and...not knowing their own emotional side.

your questions is based on the condition of IF, and it's not met, 'cause they don't. there's the monthly menstrual cycle, being penetrated by a neanderthal of a man who takes no consideration of how his penis might be hurting her, being a housewife and not getting paid as if she worked on a REAL JOB, not getting paid the same as a man in the real workforce. Oh my stars how could I have forgotten the hardship of Childbirth? Men don't give birth to children.
Okay let's say the condition of your question is met. Men when they go through hardships they cry like babies and Expect the Woman to Mend their wounds, 'baby' them back to health.

Some men have hard lives, some women have hard lives. Some men have easy lives, some women have easy lives.
Platitudes based on stereotypes don't do either sex justice so don't put any credence in them.

Men actually have HARDER lives. We not only have the same hardships as women, we also have to put up with all the crap we get FROM women. It's either that or be gay, which is not an option for me.
