tinkles.
he's a little toy dog with a bell sewn into one of his ears (hence the name). sadly tinkles has seen better days... his fur has mostly rubbed off, and he's got a scorch mark on his head from where he got too close to the fireplace when i was a kid.

When I was little I had a big plastic doll with brown curly hair. At around the same time my best friend had a baby brother called David. So even though my doll was a girl I called her David.

Gretel (as in the girl from the Sound of Music). When my brother was born my grandma bought me a doll so I would have a baby to look after too. I took her everywhere and one day I was out with the nanny and I lost her. Luckily, my parents managed to phone my grandma in Newcastle and have her post down a new one before I could get too upset. She had eyes that closed when she lay down and a romper suit with flowers :)

My first teddy was hand knitted by my grandmother and her name was Julie. When I was about 10 she gave Julie a full body makeover, new eyes, new nose and new filling! I am nearly 27 and I still have Julie, but she now lives in a box in my attic!
