i'm going to work at a nice restaurant, meals are about $9-15. it is fairly crowded. how much will i make in tips from the waiters and how much will my hourly wage be?

Your hourly wage will probably be minimum wage or close. Some states allow restaurants to pay busboys less than minimum wage if the busboys get part of the wait staff's tips, so keep that in mind. It's really hard to say how much you'll get in tips because we don't have enough information. For example: How many people eat at the restaurant during your shift? How well do people tip the wait staff? Does the tip percentage go down when the restaurant is really busy and people have to wait longer for their food? How many other busboys will be working during your shift? All of these things will affect your "cut."

Honestly, they make about the same as a fast food employee in the same area.
