It's a remake of that old movie where Yul Brynner played a robot in a western type amusement park. He goes bonkers and starts killing.

...count me in, as being most game and enthusiastic for a remake of writer Michael Crichton's FIRST foray into an amusement-park-gone-wrong story (remember, now, he DID write "Jurassic Park", too).

...last word I heard, Arnold Schawzenegger was supposed to star in the film (as a park visitor, not as the 'gunslinger', as was originally rumored), but bowed out, when he instead chose to throw his hat into the political arena (during the same period, he also backed out of starring in the third filmed version of writer Richard Matheson's horror novel, "I Am Legend"; THAT honor has since been bestowed upon actor Will Smith).

IMDB slates the release of the new "Westworld", tentitively in 2009.....but that could change, of course!!!

I didn't even hear about it until I saw your question! I loved the original movies, Westworld and Futureworld were pretty good movies in my opinion, not great, but pretty good. Yul Brynner is one of my most favorite actors.
So, to answer your question, if it is in the theaters here, Yes I will definitely go see it, if not in the theaters, I will buy it.
