I was supposed to go to summer school BUT its not in my city, my school pretty much doesnt really deal with it because the whole county goes to that same school for summer school.

I dont have enough money to go, so what I was going to do was call my principal and tell him I have 125 dollars (Isnt enough for summer school) and see if he can call the teachers or something and have them come in and teach me if I can pay them or whatever I have, too.

(Im not saying like a pay him under the table kind of thing!)

But I dont know if he can do that, is summer school really the only way I can do anything? Please help.

Depends on your county. A principal might make an exception to your situation.

Or what you COULD do, is get a summer job on top of going to summer school, and save money from that job, and tell the principal you'll pay him a set amount every week from your job to make up for the cost of summer school because you don't have the entire amount right now.

He'd probably go for that.

Hey Summer School is very helpful. What class were you having trouble in? See it all depends if you think you are gonna need this information later on. Just call the school and tell them you dont have the money. dont tell them you have 125 dollors because they will find a way to take that from you. If the really want you to Succeed they will understand.

where i live my have something called credit recovery. if u made better than a 60 then u can take a short computer class and then u get a 70 in the class. its alot cheaper than summer school.

if u dont u can retake the class 1st semester and then next semester u will be a junior or what ever u will be when u pass.

if u dont want to do that im sure some one will lend u money. its for a good cause.

You can possibly take an on-line class, like in Pennsylvania we have the PA cyber school charter system (or something like that.) Or we are able to take a "corresponding class." It's like forty dollars but you get the credits needed. My best advice is to pay attention during the school year and don't fail the class. =)

This is very hard to do and who has to pay for summer school? This is about your future and earning the dough! And there are always summer school programs around your state, isn't there? But I totally recomend you stay in your state and go to a program that can help.

Sounds like this is for High School... hmmm I would talk to the admin... and see like you said if they can work something out.... its not like college where you can go on-line and get the work done... maybe carpool... with other kids or teachers... if there is a will there is a way...

good luck

Where I am from you can take courses through correspondence. This is where you take the courses on line and through workbooks that are sent to you, check into it maybe your school can hook you up. Good Luck. Oh ya you don't have to take correspondence through the summer, you can take it anytime of the year.
