He shot himself...he was going through some really rough times and owed some very mean loan sharks tons of $$ and they were going to torture him if he didn't get the cash by friday...so he blew his brains out.

the sheriff. he shot the deputy so i decided to shoot the sheriff. however, according to bob marley, that wasnt the case. he claimed he wanted to say he shot the police but didnt because of the government, so instead had said sheriff. well, here's the quote: "I want to say 'I shot the police' but the government would have made a fuss so I said 'I shot the sheriff' instead... but it's the same idea: justice."

you did! you shot the sheriff, the deputy went crazy and shot himself. Since you are the main reason he shot himself so it is you fault !!
