They are the size of a pin head, white or clear and they stick on anything they touch. If you are sure they have spawned, goldfish are notorous for eating their own eggs. The chased female could be very stressed from the whole ordeal. I don't think spawning is a happy time in the goldfish aquarium. The males could kill the female by chasing her too much and nipping her. The eggs make a mess, and if uneaten will foul the tank like any other rotting food. Its very unlikely any fry will hatch or survive. The parents will eat the fry, if any hatch, so they must be in a separate, very clean environment to survive. Breeding goldfish is left up to professionals and very advanced hobbyists.
What I do when mine try spawn, is I separate my female in a plastic utility basket for a few days, so the boys will calm down and leave her alone. She will absorb her eggs in a day or two and you can let her back out. I don't want to risk loosing her, she's my only female and she has 3 large male tank mates. Bad situation for a girl fish I tell you.
