I wore I black dress to my sisters wedding and there was no problem, but if the groom isn't wearing a black tux you might want to think twice because you don't want to stand out at someone Else's wedding. The white in the dress is the perfect combination for a wedding. Wearing white shoes can tone the black down a little if you feel Uncomfortable. And if it helps you to save money then go right ahead.
I hope you have a great time at the wedding.

short answer--in all probability. If it requests formal dresses you would be positive. Or if her groomsmen are donning black tuxs.. If black is one in all her wedding ceremony colorations. the only time i might difficulty approximately it would be an outdoors wedding ceremony for the period of the day. maximum different circumstances are positive!! I wore black to the final 3 weddings i've got been to! I maximum certainly replaced into not the only one. it particularly is turning out to be further and extra person-friendly. that is not a cliche. 2 of my friends have used black as bridesmaid dresses. you're able to be positive as long because it meets between the standards.

I think it would be fine if you wore it, as long as you didn't have to do anything important such as make a speech or something. But, personally I wouldn't wear it, because black is the colour you wear to funerals and I dont think that it would be appropiate for a wedding. Honestly it just depends on the couple that's getting married. Maybe you should ask the bride for tips..?

Yes, you probably could wear it. The later in the day (time of wedding) the more appropriate it is. I wouldn't wear it to a 10 am wedding, for example, but I would to a 4 pm one.

Yes, definately. The white breaks it up anyway, but maybe add a cute coloured purse or gold jewelry so it's not completely black and white.
