ROFLMBO .... Vegas NEVER closes, but there is ALWAYS construction going on somewhere on the strip. They will blow up a perfectly good building to put up a newer bigger one. They do maintance on things like the fountains at Bellagio periodically whenever its needed, usually in morning when they fountains would not be going anyway. Same with the Volcano at the Mirage and the Pirate ship at the Treasure Island. Inside Ceasers they periodically shut down the two fountain displays for repairs or to change something. Its mostly done on an as needed basis.

Repairs are an ongoing thing, every hotels sets rooms aside just for maintenance. If a hotel goes through a remodel they just block sections off at a time and continue their business.

When construction of a new casino or add on to an existing casino you may find some sidewalks closed or rerouted.

Las Vegas is a city, not an amusement park. It doesn't (in fact, can't) "shut down" as a whole any more than, say, Chicago would.

They don't - it is business as usual when they are doing repairs and maintenance, they close the area off and work around it.

las vegas never closes, it is a city,it closes as often as new york ,la or san francisco. it goes 24/7 the hotels don't close the casinos are non stop.
