it may have been called pheromones or phero-mates? i have, and they actually work! they help you to attract the opposite sex. The company that I've found and am really happy with is called "Silky Scents". You can google their name to find them online. They sell a national name brand that is certified, so you know that it's not fake.

I didn't see the movie, but based on peoples answers, I can tell you that I once bought a bottle of cologne that is supposed to attract women using pheromones. The stuff usually costs $100 but I bought it off eBay for $20. I used the stuff for months and not one time did a girl even comment that it smelt good. Those things never work.

It is referred to as "The Gilroy" and it is pheremone based. No pheremone based perfume works that well where the woman can't think for herself but they have some that make the person more sexual
There have been " gilroy" knock offs showing up on Ebay

I didn't see the movie, but it could be a pheromone. All perfume companies use a kind of pheromone. Remember, it's just a movie...Spanish fly, pheromones, and things like that don't actually work.

I have not seen this movie yet, but pheronomes are in some fragrances that supposedly attract women. Objective tests show this is nonsense as one might expect if he is logical, but anything can happen in movies.

In the movie, they refer to it as "the Gibson." It's not exactly real, although certain phermones are known to be attracted to the opposite sex. The movie exaggerates that for comic purposes, though.
