I'm aware that Israeli arabs get to vote and have representatives in the israeli parliament but Israel is a Jewish state so the Arabs cannot be on par with the Jews.

In as much detail as you wish, could you explain the precise political and constitutional relationship between the Arabs and the Jews in Israel (ie, not Gaza or the West Bank)?

Well, Arab Isrealis do enjoy a good standard of living. But they face some discrimination. Israel has named its first Arab minister on the Israeli cabinet.

Some right wing "Zionists" potray Arab Israelis as the "enemy within". I think Israel is somewhat of a racist state, I wonder why they don't allow the Palestinian refugees to return?

There is no aparthied in Israel, but Isreal certainly has aparthied like practices in the Palestinian territories. Siezing all Palestinain taxes is absolutely unacceptable and unfair.

Not all Palestinians are bad. Hamas is stronger for a reason. Any form injustice leads to more tragedies.

U wondered right. Of course the Arabs are not at par with the Jews in Israel. The reason is that they are still there 2day 'cos as at d time their land was forcefully taken, unlike other Arabs like them, there was probably no immediate place 2 export them to. They were therefore forced 2 become Arab-Israelis. That too explains why they are Israelis with limited rights in all spheres. In fact they are second class citizens.

check out the writing of English Journalist Jonathan Cook who writes much about the internal issues between Israel and the Israeli Arabs.
the type of honest journalism on The M.E. that most Americans never get a whiff of - particularly about Israel (so let your deprogramming start here)

i don't be attentive to why you're so rapid to accuse 'their books of "historic past"'. The Israeli intense-college historic past products covers historic past of the Jewish contract in Israel because of the fact the top of the nineteenth century, historic past of Europe from the 1st international conflict till finally somewhat after the 2d international conflict and a few twentieth century American historic past. activities merely before the nineteenth century are merely much less substantial to comprehend the present activities in Israel. Is there any information for the "demonizing of a definite group of folk" in "their books of historic past" you're talking approximately?
