Close the borders. Enforce the current immigration laws.

Clean out Congress. Nothing but a bunch of hypocrits. ON BOTH SIDES.

Reform policing. No more DWI enforcement(spending millions to put 1000 on the street to catch DWI offenders, when other crime is through the damn roof.)They can enforce DWI's after they clean up or at least get a handle on other crime. Make Policing about law enforcement, NOT Revunue production.

Ban the IRS. Flat tax accross the board. No deductions.
No state taxes revenue services. Flat tax accross the board.

Make military service/public service mandatory for 2 years.
(We could use the people on the border or bus drivers to drop people back accross the border.)

Ask congress to pass 1 law. That law would be to eliminate 5 previous laws before 1 new one could be passed.

Eliminate Welfare State. Welfare eligiblity would last 6 months. For additional benefits, the person would have community service requirements(e.g.- cleaning up public roads, etc).

Abolish private insurance companies, and establish a National Insurance Service. Private companies are baled out to often by the government anyhow.

Retool the Department Interior(Wildlife Dept) to actually take wildlifes needs into account, more so than private business.

Remove the United States from the UN.

Remove all troops from any nation that would rather we weren't there. South Korea, Iraq for example. They don't want us there. And we don't wanna be there.

Nationally funded schools. Administered under the Dept of Education. K-12, State funded colleges and Universities will be funded, only if Armed Services are allowed to recruit from student body. Also a review of classes for accrediting. No more watching the Simpsons for class. Real classes.
We need to educate ourselves. Not dumby up the youth anymore than they are. A computer in each home. Funded by the state if need be. Children have to have the resources available to succeed.

Lobby Congress to establish term limits on itself. Congress would never pass, but, I would lobby for it.

Abolish the Electoral College. Straight number of votes for President. Retool voting to use a National ID card that will record your vote and issue a record of your vote, if, you want.
No citizenship, No card, NO VOTE. This is our country.

English would be the official language. If you have business with this country or its officials, it WILL be in English.

Study ways of possibly legalizing marijuana, and taxing it.
Continued drug enforcement. Made much easier with the border laws actually being enforced.

Health Care for ALL CITIZENS. The American worker shouldn't have to worry so much about getting sick or injured.

Mostly, I would give the People back THEIR country. Its been in the hands of the incompetent for too long.

I actually would, make more laws that are stupid not anymore.....no offense but the laws in Massachusetts is really sad, but hey. And then I would see what's going on in Iraq and see how long this war has to go on....yeah my father died out there but I still believe that it's too soon to pull the soldiers out.....we don't need them to Bomb our home.....I also would get this country picked up the land is gross there's a lot of garbage everywhere and that's not going to fly. and Global warming hello stop making electricity.....I can't even see the stars barely in the city....and there are some people that would like to know when it's night time....well yeah you got the point...

Now that you have my flippant answer ... what's your real question? Do about what? There are a host of issues facing the American President and darn few possibly good actions he can take.

If I had my druthers, I'd repeal Income Taxes in favor of a Value Added Tax. I'd also eliminate import taxes and quotas on the products of any nation whose per worker income [GDP/adult] is less than 20% of ours.

Then I'd open the Social Security database to scour it for obvious illegal activity. Not to mention raising the 'normal' retirement age by six months per year.

I'd increase the size of the military by at least 25%, and allow foreigners who choose to serve to jump to the front of the immigration line. And yes, I'd revise immigration to emphasize needed skills and limit family entry to the nuclear family of people with legal, proven jobs.

I'd build the 'Star Wars' missile defense system, including taking the Russians up on their recent offer.

And I'd mandate a uniform medical database for all citizens with a uniform medical billing system. [This would save an estimated 10 to 15 percent off our entire medical costs in just paperwork and duplicated services.]

On the other hand, I'd require that government step out of people's individual medical decisions while holding the makers and sellers of proven dangerous goods to much higher responsibility standards. [Yes, alcohol can continue to be made and sold ... BUT the alcohol industry as a whole has to pay the proven costs of drunk driving.]

Plus, I'd require a uniform high school exit exam [with verifiable database] so that employers would know that the piece of paper an applicant claims to have is actually worth something.

I would make sure that I took care of domestic issues first. Things like unemployment, poverty, Education and Crime. Then I would focus on issues that deal with foreign policy. The reason for my methods would be because as you can see...........our elected officials are too irresponsible to figure out that you can't take care of someone else's people if you can't take care of your own. Politicians elected in this country should put the needs of the people that put them in their positions first, second and 3rd. Until we get that type of leadership, we will continue to be hated by countries that respected us a long time ago.

Return all soldiers and all equipment from countries like Afghanistan and Iraq.

Stop the flow of dollars to the countries where they habitually claim that the US is "the great satan".

Only send troops to places where they are wanted, with solid agreements in place that any opposition is considered hostile action, and will be treated as such. Clear, so no misunderstanding is possible.

Shoot to kill orders for terrorists - and a commendation/medal for each soldier that takes down a terrorist. (Lightweight medals are being researched)

Stop spending precious dollars to unwilling, ungrateful (middle eastern) countries. Spend dollars at home, to repair damage 'at home'.

Stop and rethink - who are really our allies - and who are most definately not. Sever ties with those that are really not, and strengthen ties with those that are.

close the border! start using the laws that are on the books to fine big business for hiring illegals. put our military on the southern border, and civilian hired border patrol on the northern border. Force the big store outlets to use american products first, than talk about change with the import export percentage we are getting scammed on. Close the U.N. and move it to another country. We pay 100's of millions to run that sham, and get nothing from it. Do a drastic building of refineries, and big build up of drilling, so we stop buying from mexico, venezula, and saudi arabia. Blockade on Iran and N.Korea until they halt the nuke programs and let REAL inspectors.
