I agree that the current situation is very serious. However, I do not believe we are a step away from a world war that could destroy the world. Alliances and the European Naval arms race led to World War One. The harsh treaty ending that war led to poverty and division in Germany setting the stage for the entrance of Hitler. That, followed by the major powers turning a blind eye to the rise of fascism led to World War Two.

Neither of those sets factors are currently in place right now. I can see the possibility of rapidly spreading violence and the outbreak of at least two more wars in the Middle East. There is not enough unity in that region or among the western powers at this time however to lead to the belief that a world war is imminent. Even were it to happen it is far from likely that it would destroy the world. It could however, have serious impact on the living conditions in the world. That alone though would not mean it would be the final conflict.

It wouldn't be the first time and we're no where near WW3 as we were during the Cuban Missile Crisis, where the world was literally only hours away from possibly total destruction. It may seem like its that way now, but during those few days in October 1962, literally the world's fate hung in the balance. What if the Soviet submarine captain fired its nuclear torpedo, or there had been an invasion of Cuba, would we be sitting here having this discussion over how current mistakes are taken?

"The current political situations in the world may lead to third world war."

it is the design of the New World Order to provoke a "clash of civilizations" . It will not be a mistake.

Your faith in the Politicians is misplaced however as they're their lackeys.

The global elite (no more than a few hundred in numbers) are planning to wipe out billions this century and 9/11 was the beginning of the endgame to their Satanic plan for One World Government.

The only answer is that people inform themselves - other wise this will not be adverted.

I can see where you are coming from, but people have been saying things like this for literally thousands of years. Even since the last World War, which is probably more relevant, some people have been waiting for this to happen. Nothing has. What is different now compared to 20, 30, or 50 years ago? Weapons of mass destruction? Trouble in the middle east? Tension between us and Russia and Asia? That has all been around for decades. The current war situation is no different than Korea or Vietnam. It sucks, no doubt, but nothing in the current political climate is any better or worse than it was in the 1960s or many other times throughout history. Am I saying you are wrong? No. It could happen. But I am not going to waste my time speculating over it or fretting about it. Odds are we are no closer to WWIII now than we were 20 years ago or more.

World War 3. I suppose if you add up all the current little wars going on all over the world, it might already be considered to be WW3.
I firmly believe that war between super powers is a thing of the past. The Cuban Missle crisis back in the 1960's proved that. The whole world was waiting with baited breath for the missles to start flying between USSR and USA, but they didn't. Diplomacy won the day and it was all thanks to Bobby Kennedy who sat with the Russian Abassador to America until 4am, talking about averting nuclear war.
I agree, global thermo-nuclear war will terminate all lfe on earth. But it will NEVER happen.

there may well be but it won't destroy the world because to use nuclear weapons is suicide and as mad as politicians are they can't give that order.
but they can send troops out and a third world war will probably be the last war.
at least as far as man is concerned. God will wage the final war.

I think if there were to be a World War 3 it would indeed be the last - with the technology and nuclear arms capability of most countries!!

The only possibility of a nuclear war in the forseeable future is when Iran develops it's missiles and tries to obliterate Israel.

I honestly believe that before this happens, someone (probably the israeli's) will tactically take out all of the nuclear installations and research establishments in Iran.

I completely agree with you. The governments are the global terrorists we ALL need to be afraid of. A few people having the power to push a button and start a chain reaction of tit for tat nuclear explosions which could obliterate this planet is very serious stuff indeed.
