How do I turn off Compaq Organize ??

I had to do a restore and it added on something called Compaq organize and I have no idea what it is but it takes a long time to load and keeps me from proceeding with what I want to do , can I set a settting to keep it from opening up>

If you wanna uninstall it just go to Control Panel and then click "add/remove programs" then click on Compaq Organize. If you wanna stop it from starting up with Windows, click start->run->type "msconfig"->click on startup and then find compaq ogranize and then uncheck the box next to it. Then click apply and ok. You'll get a dialog box next time you startup but just click on the box "don't show this next time."

Ok,, I dunno why no one want to answer you seriously. Compaq own by HP now... Compaq still exist but its made by HP Now I have Hp laptop as Media center and it also just start doing that. Me I'm a tech ,so no real biggie In my case the problem seem to be that the fan do not turn on ,as I power the laptop. Therfore the cpu overheat very quickly and the computer shut down. Before going there , try booting without battery , make sure the blue lighht is on where you connect the power to your laptop. Also try with only the battery Also try listen if your the fan or if its quiter then usual +
