Does God bless one country and curse another?

No He blessed the whole world*.. He is fair and impartial in all areas especially in that one*.. Only in America do some people believe otherwise*.. Sad but true, and they need to get over it*..

God doesn't judge a man from his race, religion, nationality or ethnicity. God judges man from his actions. Ones that do good are blessed.
Ones that do ill will on others are companions of the fire.
America has done good things. Such as aid to poor countries (which is not always effective), elimination of polio, saving the Muslims from being slaughtered by Serb forces, etc.
The Iraq war is just dumb. A country can't establish law and order in another country regardless of how well armed its military is. This has been proven throughout modern times.
One loses honour much faster than one can gain.

I think it is obvious we have been blessed as a country.
Our resources, our gov't, our standard of living given all the different people that have come from all over the globe looking for a better place to live and raise their children.
I don't think God would curse a country or a people. Although Sodom and Gemorra didn't fare well from what I heard.

I doubt it ! While the U.S. has been blessed over the years, there's still some sordid dark history of America that hs to be atoned for. For starters, slavery still is a huge issue that America still hasn't addressed properly.
Many of our best known companies were started using free slave labor for which no slave or slave descendants have ever been compensated for. Then we can move on to all of the unnecessary wars that America has started in other countries. The list can go on and on !
America has a dark and shady past that will some day catch up to us. Unfortunately, 9/11 was just the beginning of the atrocities that America faces.
