Now a coupla months ago everyone was saying that cora belonged at 2nd. Now Pedroia is clearly the better choice in my mind. Especially after going 5-5 on Friday. Who do you think should start at 2nd. And did you think late April that is shoulda been Cora over Pedroia. There was a lot of hype about this kid while he was in the minors.

definitely Pedroia, he is finally showing that he can play good everyday. even though Cora was hot and should have played april, Francona stayed with Pedroia and its paying off now.

Sox fans are better than these responses. Alex Cora is like a 260 hitter. There is a huge sample size to go by. Playing him everyday would be a bad choice. He should do what we pay him to do, play everywhere, give guys days off, pinch run, etc. Pedroia on the other hand was a high 300's hitter in the minors. You are better off with what you predict Pedroia will do, rather than what you know Cora will do. Not to mention 2nd base is the most meaningless, take a chance on a guy, position in the Boston lineup.

in april cora was doing far better at the plate than pedroia was. that's changed since pedroia had such a good may (AL rookie of the month) and has had a good june so far. at the moment pedroia is the right person to be starting, but cora has too much talent to be sitting on the bench. personally i'd be putting cora in one game every series at either second base or shortstop. for the game he plays just figure out if pedroia or lugo is hotter at that point in time and put cora in the position of the guy who's struggling.

Who's hot right now? Pedroia so you take him just like when Cora was hot they went with him. If Pedroia slips up they will go back to cora. Personally I like Pedroia kid's got alot of game

Francona did the right thing by sticking with Pedroia. I think Cora should play in lieu of Lugo and pltoon with him at shortstop.

I say ride whoever's hot... Cora was on fire earlier this year, so he was the better option. It looks like Pedroia has figured things out, so right now I'd say he's the better option.

I think they should get split time because I honestly can't choose one over the other. Have them split times and whoever does better is your choice
